Chungki Min

Korean-Austrian conductor Chungki Min is a faculty member at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg, and is the artistic director of the Austrian-Korean Philharmonic. Alongside teaching, he conducts concerts across Korea and Europe, often performing new pieces by contemporary composers. He has regularly conducted at festivals in South Korea and has premiered over 60 compositions. Min was the chief conductor of Bucheon Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and of Seoul Euharmonic Chamber Orchestra in South Korea.

In May 2007, he founded his own ensemble, the MozArt Sinfonietta Salzburg, and has since performed numerous concerts, with a repertoire ranging from baroque to the latest contemporary classical music. He has worked with ensembles in Munich, Linz, Salzburg, Erl, Gävle, Prague, Zilin, Mexico City, Neuss am Rhein, Bratislava, and Bucheon and Incheon in South Korea.
