Indrė Jučaitė-Sarneckienė

Indrė Jučaitė-Sarneckienė has been actively engaged in organising the annual international Kaunas Jazz festival in Lithuania since 1994, firstly, as a volunteer from 1994 to 1999; then as Assistant to the Artistic Manager from 1999 to 2006; and since 2006 as the Artistic Director of the festival. Jučaitė-Sarneckienė’s job as Artistic Director has been to group the world’s best jazz artists and groups, cooperate with international jazz festivals, and coordinate international initiatives with foreign partners.

Festivals and events supervised by Jučaitė-Sarneckienė include: the Kaunas Jazz festival from years 1999–2019; the Kaunas Jazz Autumn concert cycles from 2003–2017; the Kaunas Jazz yearly concert from 2002–2018; annual events to release and present films about Kaunas Jazz; finally, presenting concert DVDs such as Earth Wind & Fire Experience feat. Al McKay Allstars Live in Kaunas Jazz 2004 and Bobby McFerrin Live in Kaunas Jazz 2011.
