Joryi Kloc

About:

Joryi Kloc is a Ukrainian folk-rock band from Lviv. The band was formed in 2008 and uses a unique composition of musical instruments – drum, hurdy-gurdy, rock guitar, and viola. Though Kloc call themselves a rock band, Polish Radio defined the band’s style as ‘turbo-folk’, and on a tour of Donetsk and Donbas local reviewers defined them as ‘Cossack break-beat’. During their performance in the semi-finals of the 11th season of the show Mam Talent, which airs on the Polish TV channel TVN, the TV presenters described the band as a ‘Slavic Sepultura’.

Joryi Kloc has repeatedly performed at major events in Ukraine and abroad. The band regularly tours Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Canada, China, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Belarus and other countries.
